As you perhaps noticed, our Congress had to be postponed because of air traffic problems related to the eruption of the volcano Eyjafjöll: an unprecedented natural disaster which paralysed the whole European air space.
The whole Encounters team is sorry for the personal consequences that may have resulted for the participants.
This congress had represented at least two years of work.
Besides, the International Encounters of Monaco are the only international and multidisciplinary structure in which scientists from all parts of the world and the most qualified representatives – researchers or practitioners – of unconventional medicines agree to hold a dialogue.
Today, these exchanges have become indispensable and possible: acceptance of the limitations of present scientific knowledge, quality of the modern scientific experiments, increased harmonisation and cohesion of the various approaches.
We all know that in medicine – an activity situated between science and the art of healing – consensus may vary. This is the reason for our meetings.
Thanks to our motivation and the understanding of the Monegasque Government, the Tourist and Congress Department and all our service providers, we were able to postpone our event to Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th November, same place.
